Incantation (noun), from Late Latin incantationem… “act of enchantment”, … from … incantare, “to betwitch, charm, cast a spell upon, chant magic over, sing spells.”

All poems are incantations, brewed from the poet’s experience and imagination. Sycorax Journal presents poems of the fantastic, which hopefully will cast their spells on you. Oracles and sirens, gods and kitsune, enchanters and the enchanted—all are welcome in these pages.
